Tippecanoe Valley 20, Maconaquah 17
Tippecanoe Valley rallied in the second half to keep its Three Rivers Conference title hopes alive with a three-point win at Death Valley.
Hunter Eherenman scored the go-ahead touchdown with 7:27 to go in the game and the Vikings held on after trailing 17-13 for much of the second half.
Jamasyn Virgil led the Vikings with 125 yards rushing and scored a touchdown. Branson McBrier added a one-yard touchdown run for the Vikings, which move to 5-2 overall and 5-1 in the TRC, a game back of Southwood, which are 6-0 in the standings.
Valley (5-2, 5-1 TRC) hosts Manchester next Friday.
North Judson 30, Triton 12
The Trojans couldn’t slow down the Blue Jays in Hoosier North Athletic Conference ball in North Judson.
After playing to a 6-6 tie after a quarter, the Blue Jays grabbed a 22-6 lead at the half thanks to fumble return for a score and a Trey Hampton one-yarder. Owen Frasure added a two-yard score as the hosts pulled away. Cheyenne Allen had the first touchdown for North Judson.
Cole Shively and Anthony Schuh both had rushing touchdowns for Triton in the loss.
The teams were only separated by 18 yards, 212-194, but Triton lost the turnover battle 4-3.
Triton (3-3, 2-2 HNAC) will host Knox next week.
