WARSAW – A motorist apparently lost control of his vehicle and struck a parked car early Tuesday morning, Oct. 6, in Warsaw.

The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. and tied up traffic around the 100 block of East Center Street.

A red four-door car struck a parked silver four-door Hyundai that had been parked on the south side of the street. The impact of the crash pushed the parked car up onto the sidewalk.

A witness said the motorist had earlier hit a curb and was driving erratically moments before the accident.

Emergency responders were providing CPR to the motorist for an extended period of time.
