Margaret ‘Midge’ Stutzman
Margaret “Midge” Stutzman, 90, Nappanee, died at 9:45 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, at the home of her granddaughter surrounded by her family and dog, Sweety. She was born Oct. 18, 1929 in Goshen to John and Eva (Linn) Reed.
She lived her lifetime in the Nappanee and Goshen area. Her first marriage was to Chester “Ted” Adams. He preceded her in death. Her second marriage was to Roman “Red” Stutzman and he preceded her in death.
Margaret was a homemaker and had also worked at Vitreous Steel. She was a member of the Nappanee American Legion Auxiliary. She was an avid bowler. She enjoyed fishing, camping and was a big card player with friends and at the Elder Haus in Nappanee.
Surviving are her granddaughters, Crystal (Robert) Adams-Toma, Elkhart, Dawn (Chris) Barr-Adams, Bargersville; grandson, Matthew Adams, Elkhart; great grandchildren, Ryan, Shelby, Ross, Bailey; great great grandson, Avery; daughter-in-law, Lisa Adams, Roachdale; sister, Ethel Hughes, Syracuse; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Windy Adams; and brothers and sisters, Marian, Betty, Alice, Robert, Chuck, and George.
Family and friends may call from 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, followed by Funeral Service at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
