Naomi M. Leinbach
Naomi M. Leinbach, 93, Zionsville, formerly of Goshen, went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 17, 2020.
She was born May 28, 1927, in Nappanee, to Irvin and Martha (Hygema) Wise. She was married to the late “J.R.” Noah Leinbach, Junior, on Nov. 3, 1945, in Nappanee and he died July 3, 2002.
She worked seven years at Fairfield High School as an educational assistant. She was involved in Christian Women’s Club and was an auxiliary member of Gideons International. She loved to garden, entertain friends, and spend time with her family. Her family will miss her immensely but are comforted in knowing she now rests peacefully in the loving arms of God.
Surviving are her four daughters, Sheila (Boyce) Ruegsegger, Indianapolis, Treasa (Terrell) Arnold, Baker, Montana, Linda (David) Hamrick, Marion, Ohio, and Rebecca (William) Babbitt, Deland, Fla.; a son, Steven (Chris) Leinbach, Allegan, Michigan; 28 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gladys Mast; brothers-in-law, Gerald and Russell Leinbach.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, seven brothers and sisters, and her grandson, Channon Ruegsegger.
Visitation will be from 9:30 – 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. Service to follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Byron Dickey officiating. A private family burial will take place at South Union Cemetery.
The family requests that you wear a mask during the visitation and funeral. Memorials may be made to the World Missionary Press.
