Vote For Miner
Dear Editor:
I will be voting for Chad Miner this year in the election for Superior Court 3. Chad has been an outstanding public servant in our community for many years, and I am impressed by his servant leadership.
He has been the president of the Warsaw Rotary Club, and he has served on the board of directors for the Kosciusko Community YMCA, Kosciusko Community Senior Services, Kosciusko Literary Services and the Animal Welfare League. He is dedicated to giving back to the community.
A judge has to have a broad range of experiences and has to interact with a broad cross-section of individuals in the county. Chad has built a private practice that deals largely with the very type of civil disputes that Superior Court 3 addresses; but he also does a fair amount of criminal public defender work, so he knows and works regularly with those in our community who don’t have the funds to hire a lawyer. The diversity of his practice is a great benefit to him.
Finally, we have to be confident that a judge can make sound decisions under difficult circumstances. I think that Chad has proven he’s able to do that as our county attorney over the past six years. It’s telling that our county commissioners have consistently renewed his contract and that they’ve provided strong testimonials in support of his election as judge.
I encourage you all to vote for Chad Miner on or before Nov. 3.
