Crossroads League Adds Competitive Cheer To Lineup

AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League announced its plan on Friday to add competitive cheer to its list of sponsored sports, marking the league’s first new offering since the addition of men’s and women’s indoor track and field in 2017-18.
A total of seven schools from the Crossroads League currently offer competitive cheer as a varsity sport, with Bethel, Indiana Wesleyan, Marian, Mount Vernon Nazarene, Saint Francis, Spring Arbor and Taylor on track to compete for the first-ever league title.
The addition of competitive cheer gives the Crossroads League a total of 18 sponsored sports.
The inaugural Crossroads League Competitive Cheer Championship is set for Saturday, February 27, 2021 on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan.
