Rochester Schools Cease In-person Learning Through Nov. 16
ROCHESTER — Rochester School Corporation Superintendent Jana Vance released the following information Monday regarding in-person learning in Rochester schools:
“It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the close of Rochester Community Schools in-person learning through Nov. 16. At this time, we anticipate reopening our district on Nov 17.
“We will be providing meals to all students who would like that service beginning this Wednesday, Nov. 4. Please check our website www.zebras.net, for further information.
“Your student’s building level principal will be sending you specific information around virtual learning and those expectations. Please note that virtual learning will begin tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov. 3).
“We apologize for the inconvenience, but due to COVID and those throughout the district who are either symptomatic or quarantined, it is necessary for us to safeguard all.”
