WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested after threatening to kill a woman.

Sammy Lee Hyde, 57, 314 S. Columbia St., Warsaw, is charged with intimidation, a level 6 felony.

On Oct. 31, a Warsaw Police officer spoke with a woman at a residence regarding a threat to her life. The woman said she had an argument with Hyde when Hyde threatened to kill her and then take his own life. According to court documents, the woman said this was an ongoing occurrence with Hyde.

The officer then spoke with Hyde, who said “that may have happened” when asked if he threatened to kill the woman.

Hyde was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Oct. 31, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
