INDIANAPOLIS – The awards just keep coming in for Warsaw’s Kennedy Lauck.
The outside hitter for the Tigers was named a Northern All-Star for the Class 3-A/4-A by the Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association Monday night.
The University of Illinois-Springfield commit was huge for Warsaw this season, registering 212 kills and 58 blocks. The senior was on the preseason Under Armour All-American watch list, and later helped Warsaw to a 7-0 championship run through the Northern Lakes Conference.
Lauck was joined on the North All-Stars by Lakeland’s Bailey Hartsough, part of 28 total players from the north and south selected for the teams, which typically would play one another. The games this year have been canceled amid COVID concerns.
Selected for the North All-Stars in the Class 1-A/2-A team were Fairfield’s Madisyn Steele, Wabash’s Mariah Wyatt, Northfield’s Addison Baker and Kyra Kennedy, and Pioneer’s Olivia Brooke, Madison Blickenstaff and Mackenzie Walker.
Chosen from the area for the Junior All-Stars were LaVille’s Olivia Goze, Pioneer’s Hailey Cripe and Prairie Heights’ Kalli Aaron.
