Richard Allen Caldwell II
Richard Allen Caldwell II passed away at 12 p.m., Dec. 12, 2020, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born April 26, 1966, in Kokomo to Richard A and Jeanie (Wilson) Caldwell-Stackhouse. He was with the love of his life, Kimberly Martin Caldwell, for ten years. They married Sept. 12, 2020, in Brown County.
He graduated from Warsaw High School in 1984. In school he wrestled. He graduated from Indiana Barber & Cosmetology School of Indianapolis. He opened his Business Cosmo & Co. in Winona Lake in 1999. He built the Cosmo & Co. that is located on Biomet Dr. Warsaw, in 2005. Rich had been a hairstylist most of his life and had so many clients that he loved, and they loved him back.
He attended New Life Christian Church. A passionate motorcyclist, he and his wife Kim were always riding their Harley on the weekends. They would go to Brown County at least twice a year with the bike to experience the beauty there. He was also a lover of the water. Rich skied and went wakeboarding with his daughters and taught them everything they needed to know. He also loved snowmobiling with his buddies in Northern Michigan. He loved telling stories of his adventures. Rich was also a great snow skier and snowboarder.
Rich is survived by his wife, Kimberly Caldwell; his mom, Jeanie Stackhouse; siblings, Beth (Andy) Thomas, Annie Wilson, Julie (Andy) Harrel, Lisa (Bernie) Ginaitt, Jim (Jennifer) Caldwell; daughters, Katie Caldwell, Mallory Keough, son in-law Tom Keough, stepson Brad (Mallory) Roberts, stepdaughter, Brooke (Kevin) Kindig and grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jaelyn, Thomas, Walker, Logan, Luke, Landon, Cash and Kasen. They all called him Papa Richie. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard A. Caldwell I, and his stepbrother Jeff (Jodi) Stackhouse.
A Viewing with friends will be Saturday, Dec. 19, at New Life Christian Church, Warsaw from noon-2 p.m. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. at the Church with Pastor John B. Lowe II officiating. Interment will be private. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw are entrusted with arrangements for the family.
