Robert ‘Rob’ Dean Emerick

Robert “Rob” Dean Emerick, 50, passed away at 12:32 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020, at Warsaw Meadows Care Center.

He was born on June 30, 1970, in Akron, Ohio to Carol Jean (Hartwell) Emerick and William John Emerick.

Rob graduated from Hoover High School in North Canton, Ohio in 1989. He moved to Kosciusko County, in 2005 and worked road construction for many years. He was an avid sports fan of ANY sport! He had the privilege and very much enjoyed being the statistician for the Wawasee High School Basketball team in Syracuse, for many years. Rob will forever be remembered as simply “Dad”, and dearly missed by his mother, sister and family and friends.

He leaves behind his son: Christian Emerick; daughter: Courtney Emerick; mother: Carol Emerick; and his sister: Dana McAfee, all of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his father, William John Emerick.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Dec. 26, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana. A graveside service will follow immediately at noon at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Jarod Osborne.
