Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 7:25 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, US 30, Warsaw. Driver: Carol A. VanMeter, 66, CR 3, Garrett. VanMeter’s vehicle went off the roadway, struck a traffic light warning sign and rolled onto its side in a ditch. Damage up to $2,500.

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 9:26 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, CR 600E and Fort Wayne Road, Rochester. Driver: Morgen C. Martin, 22, Rochester. Martin’s vehicle went off the road and into a ditch with water.
• 5:31 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, SR 110 and Upas Road. Driver: Charles L. Barnett, 36, Rochester. Barnett’s vehicle slid off the road and hit a railroad tie.
• 7:01 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, US 31 and CR 450N, Rochester. Driver: Tommy M. Zappa, Michigan. Zappa’s vehicle slid off the road into a ditch.
• 6:44 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, US 31 and CR 375N, Rochester. Driver: Priscilla D. Gilchrist, no age listed. Initial reports were one vehicle was on its top with seven occupants and one passenger partially ejected.
• 6:28 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, US 31 and CR 700N, Rochester. Driver: Philip R. Holderman, no age listed, Argos. Holderman’s vehicle went off the road into a ditch.
