PIERCETON — At least one person was injured in a single-vehicle accident just west of Pierceton.

At 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, Pierceton Fire Department and Lutheran EMS responded to a report of a vehicle accident on East Pierceton Road, near South CR 400E, Pierceton.

Two people were inside the vehicle at the time of the accident, with one needing to be extricated from the rolled-over vehicle. The individual extricated from the vehicle sustained a leg injury.

For unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway and rolled onto its top in a nearby field.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene.
