MILFORD — Around 1:49 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, the call went out about a collision between two vehicles at the intersection of SR 15 and CR 1350N, at the overpass just north of Milford.

According to a Milford police officer at the scene, the driver of the silver Lexus ES 330 was heading east on CR 1350N and crossed SR 15, failing to yield to the south-traveling Toyota Camry. The Toyota also collided with the guardrail on the east side of SR 15.

Traffic heading north on SR 15 became blocked, while southbound traffic was able to turn east onto CR 1350N as an alternative route.

Responding agencies to the accident included Milford Fire Department, Milford Police Department, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and Lutheran EMS.

The collision caused the Lexus ES 330’s hood to pop open.

The Toyota Camry experienced extensive front-end damage and also hit a guardrail on SR 15.
