Elizabeth Ann Engle

Elizabeth Ann Engle, 34, Plymouth, passed away at 9:04 a.m. Jan. 14, 2021, in the St. Joseph Health Systems, Plymouth, following a very sudden illness. On Sept. 20, 1986, in Plymouth, she was born to Michael Wes Beatty and Shelley K. Beatty. She lived all of her life in the Argos and Plymouth communities.

On Aug. 18, 2012, in Plymouth, she married Joshua M. Engle and they have shared the past eight years together.

Elizabeth was a nurse practitioner, having worked the past two years at Doctor’s Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Bremen; she had worked at Memorial Hospital for seven years prior to that.

She attended Pretty Lake United Methodist Church, Plymouth; and had been active with the Culver Young Farmers, Culver. Elizabeth was a graduate of Argos High School with the class 2005.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Josh Engle of Plymouth; daughters: Mackenzie Engle and Aedreanna Engle both at home; mother: Shelley Beatty of Argos; sister: Sondra Beatty and Matthew Bogunia of Walkerton; maternal grandmother: Judy Mann; niece and nephew: Brylie and Logan; mother and father-in-law: Kimberly and Kevin Milliser of Plymouth; several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael W. Beatty, Nov. 16, 2020; daughter: Elena Engle, Jan. 12, 2020; maternal grandfather – Kelly Mann; paternal grandparents: Norman and Loreitta Beatty.

Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at the Pretty Lake Trinity United Methodist Church, 8985 State Road 17, Plymouth.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the church with Rev Tammy Boggs. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
