MILFORD — The Milford Public Library held a giveaway in December 2020.

Because of all the time spent at home with families, library staff decided to have a family game giveaway. The Byler family won “Pictionary Air Kids vs. Grown-Ups,” “I Should Have Known That!” and “Life on Earth.” Staff hope the family has hours of fun playing their new games.

Virtual Piano Concert

Library staff are excited for the community to watch Dan Fogel via YouTube. Fogel is an amazing pianist and will take listeners on a musical journey through many decades of music. He plays a wide range of artists, from Queen to Coldplay. Sign up in the library’s adult department or by phone at (574) 658-4312. A library card is not needed to take part in this free entertainment. A YouTube link will be e-mailed out beginning Monday, Jan. 18, and available through Saturday, Jan. 23.

Teen Zoom Meeting

Teens ages 11 through 18, join the library via Zoom at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28. Staff will play a fun game with teens, then brainstorm what to do in future meetings. Library staff want to get to know teens and their input on activities they like to do. Plan to meet for about an hour. The Zoom meeting number is 961 1102 0834.
