Adgie Hall
Adgie Hall, 86, Peru, passed away at 8:08 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, in Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru.
Adgie was born Jan. 1, 1935, in Magoffin, Ky., to John “Long” Aulda (Wireman) Shepherd. She was united in marriage to Billie Hall in Silver Lake.
Adgie was born and raised in Kentucky moving to Ohio in 1959 and in 1965 she moved to Kosciusko County. She worked for Korth Furniture Warsaw and was a caregiver in Peru. She loved to quilt, crochet, cook and enjoyed working on crafts. She was a member of First Free Will of Silver Lake.
Adgie is survived by daughter, Angela (Marvin) Uitts, Peru; son, John Dale Hughes, Warsaw; five grandchildren: Travis, Robin, Tavis, Brandi, Keith; and eight great grandchildren; siblings: Mentha Prater, David, Ky.; Edgar Shepherd, Martin, Ky.; Owen Shepherd of David, Ky.; Roger Lee Shepherd, David, Ky.; Elma Kay Caudill of Paintsville, Ky.; and Ruby Jean Bradley of Silver Lake.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Margaret Flannery, siblings, Earlene Mundy, Olen Shepherd, Quillen Shepherd, Jerlene Prater, and Elzie Joe Shepherd.
A visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday, Jan. 28, at the funeral chapel. Pastors Lorren Bradley & Reverend Robert Brown will be officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
