WARSAW — The Presby Preschool Board has unanimously selected Dr. Jeffrey W. Peck, the current interim director, as its next preschool director. Dr. Peck (or Dr. Jeff as he is known at the school) has been serving in an interim capacity since August 2020.

Prior to joining Presby Preschool, Peck served since 2008 as a professor in the Teacher Preparation Program at Grace College. Prior to that he was an associate professor at Bethel College. Peck’s career began as a teacher in elementary and middle school classrooms before moving to teach at the collegiate level. Peck holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Grace College as well as a Ph.D. in teacher education from The Ohio State University.

Jeff and his wife, Nancy, reside in Winona Lake. They have three married children and seven grandchildren, with another on the way. The Pecks are actively involved at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church where Jeff has served as an Elder, Deacon and Sunday School teacher and has also recently worked part-time as discipleship director on the church staff.

Presby Preschool, a ministry of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, was founded in 1985 with a focus on the holistic development of each child. Presby Preschool admits children of any race, color, creed and national or ethnic origin. Presby Preschool works with each child to prepare them to achieve academically as well as in all areas of life. The school’s play-based approach to learning is designed to support children in their mental, emotional, social, physical and spiritual development, enabling them to flourish in God’s world.
