UPDATE: Heavy Snow Expected Overnight
Staff Report
WARSAW — Snowfall is beginning to intensify in Kosciusko County Monday night, Feb. 15, and will likely continue until Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service reports snow spreading over the area, heavy at times tonight with rates of 1 inch per hour.
New snow accumulation of 5 to 9 inches is possible.
Blowing snow will reduce visibility and lead to drifts on the roads, making travel difficult, the weather service said.
Wind chills will fall below zero. North winds will be around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
The overnight low is expected to fall to 7.
