Warsaw 60, South Bend Washington 57
An 11-2 run to end the game lifted the Tigers to a road win Saturday night.
Washington led by six heading into the fourth quarter, 49-43, but the Tigers turned it on late to win its season finale.
Jaxon Gould had a big game for the Tigers (15-7), leading the way with 24 points, seven rebounds, three steals and three blocks. Gould was 8-15 from the floor and hit 6-7 free throws to highlight his night.
Judah Simfukwe added 11 points and five assists in the win and Ben Bergen chipped in 10 points and four rebounds.
Marcus Northern had 22 points and four rebounds for the Panthers (4-16) and Jason Jones tossed in 15 points and five rebounds.
Tayde Kiser took the lead for Warsaw with 15 points in the JV game to pace a 41-34 result over the Panthers. Isaiah Holland had 11 points for the hosts.
Argos 51, Triton 39
In a matchup of top-20 programs in Class 1-A and potential sectional foes, Argos gained the mental advantage with a win Saturday night in Argos.
The Dragons stormed to a 23-11 lead to open the contest, then stayed one step ahead in the fourth quarter to double a six-point lead to 12 to finish off the win.
The Dragons committed almost twice as many turnovers (15-8), but shot 64 percent from the floor (18-28) and outrebounded Triton 23-11. JJ Morris had 14 points to lead the Dragons (15-4) and Dylan Kindig had 13 points and seven rebounds.
Triton had Tyson Yates finish with 10 points and John Gardner had nine points and three rebounds.
Triton’s JV came through with a 31-27 finish. Connor Large loomed it with 11 points and four steals for the Trojans.
Manchester 67, Lakeland Christian 49
Manchester (11-7) won its third game in eight days, protecting its home court against LCA (9-9) Saturday night.
