Wawasee 47, Jimtown 46
Wawasee earned a win Tuesday night in a nailbiter at home against the Jimmies.
The Warriors held an eight-point lead entering the final quarter, only for the Jims to make it too close for comfort in the fourth.
Wawasee (10-11) needed every bit of Keaton Dukes’ 20 points and Caden Welty’s 10 points. The two also combined for 10 assists and six rebounds. Kam Salazar added six points, seven rebounds and three assists.
Jimtown (4-18) had three scorers in double figures, led by Beau Barhams’ 15 points and 10 rebounds, 11 points from Braxton Rice and Luke Bottom’s 10 points.
A strong second quarter led Jimtown to a 46-34 JV win. Jimtown outscored Wawasee 15-8 in the quarter to make its move. Jackson Clopton led the winners with 13 points and Peyton Felger led Wawasee with eight points.

Marian Women 84, Grace 55
Grace’s women’s basketball team was unable to stop one of the hottest teams in the nation on Tuesday night.
No. 4 Marian won its 19th straight game, beating Grace 84-55 in the quarterfinals of the Crossroads League Tournament.
Maddie Ryman led all scorers with 25 points as one of the lone bright spots offensively for the Lady Lancers (12-16). She shot 7 of 11 from the field, 2 of 4 from beyond the arc and a perfect 9 of 9 from the free throw line.
Grace ranks No. 26 in the nation with a plus-5.1 turnover margin per game. But the script was flipped on Tuesday as the Lady Lancers lost the ball 20 times compared to eight for the Knights (25-4).
The Lady Lancers fell behind early after a big opening quarter by the Knights. Marian outscored Grace 27-11 in the first frame. Grace was unable to score for the final 2:58 of the quarter.
The margin grew to 24 by halftime; the Knights took a commanding 46-22 lead into the intermission.
Grace made just 7 of 26 from the floor in the first half (27 percent). Comparatively, Marian shot 50 percent from the floor (18 of 36).
Late in the third quarter, Grace made a 7-0 run which was sparked by an and-1 by Ryman. But it was not nearly enough to slow down the Knights.
Both teams played with tremendous energy until the final whistle, but Marian cruised away with the victory to reach the tournament semifinals.
Kenzie McMahon finished with eight points and three rebounds, and Kaylee Patton added 6 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists.
Kyannah Stull tallied 6 points, 4 assists and 4 boards, and Kaylie Warble had 6 points, 7 rebounds and 1 block.
