IHSAA Girls Basketball State Finals scoreboard for all four class championships.
Class 1-A
Pioneer 43, Loogootee 42
Ashlynn Brooke hit a jumper with seven seconds left to lift Pioneer (25-4) to its first girls basketball state championship. Olivia Brooke, who assisted her sister on the winning basket, was named the Mental Attitude Award winner. Loogootee finishes 20-5.
Class 2-A
Linton-Stockton 63, Tipton 25
Linton (27-1) repeats as Class 2-A champion, and boasts of Haley Rose as Mental Attitude Award winner. The game was played Friday night. Tipton finishes at 20-8.
Class 3-A
Silver Creek 54, South Bend Washington 48
The clock struck midnight for South Bend Washington, falling to No. 1 Silver Creek in its first title appearance since 2009. Mila Reynolds had 18 points, six rebounds and two blocks for the Panthers (22-6), Marissa Gasaway with 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Dragons (25-3). Silver Creek’s Jaclyn Emly was named the Mental Attitude Award winner.
Class 4-A
Crown Point 44, Brownsburg 34
Crown Point (25-1) finished off a huge season with 25 points, seven rebounds and five steals from Jessica Carrothers to win its first title since 1985. Crown Point’s Allie Govert was named the Mental Attitude Award winner. Brownsburg (17-11) hadn’t been to the finals in 30 years.
