Woman Arrested For Role In 2020 Bremen Robbery

PLYMOUTH — An Etna Green woman has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Marshall County in 2020.
On Tuesday, March 2, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department arrested Anita Slabaugh, 29, for armed robbery. Slabaugh was booked with a cash bond of $25,000.
At approximately 4:58 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, Marshall County 911 received a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred at the Rentown Country Store, located near Bremen.
The suspects were described as two individuals, who left in a dark blue, four-door, possibly Chevrolet car. A male displayed a gun and demanded money from the cash register.
During an extensive investigation, the sheriff’s department was able to learn the identity of the person involved was Labrand Jay Holt-Spencer, 39, from the South Bend area. He is currently serving time within the Michigan Department of Corrections, for an unrelated crime. The sheriff`s department currently holds an active arrest warrant for Holt-Spencer for armed robbery.
