North Webster Library Offers Knitting, Crocheting Class
News Release
NORTH WEBSTER — The North Webster Community Public Library offers a knitting and crocheting class via Zoom.
The Knit 1 Crochet 2 class is returning via Zoom to the Adult Services Department at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 6. The class will be working on throw pillows.
To participate, stop in the library to sign up or call 574-834-7122. People should provide their name, phone number and email address. They will then be emailed the knitting pattern and a Zoom link with log-in information. They must supply their own knitting supplies.
Past programs
While the library looks forward to safe in-house programming in the future, patrons may revisit past program presentations on the library’s website at www.nweb.lib.in.us.
Featured on the home page is the 2012 presentation by Vietnam veteran Bill Pressler who shared his wartime experiences. Other program presentations can be found on the website’s Local History and Genealogy page.
Just click on the Presentation Videos tab on the right hand side of the page and select a video. Cemetery Walk enactments from the last 12 years are also available for viewing on the library’s website.
Audio books
For those who enjoy audio books, the Adult Services Department has many new titles. Audio books make great traveling companions for road trips or daily commutes. They are also ideal to listen to while doing chores, exercising or just relaxing.
Audio books enable those with vision or reading difficulties to enjoy books as well. A large selection of audio books may also be found in the Youth Department for children and teens.
As the library looks forward to a safe reopening, check its website and Facebook page often for updates on future programs.
