WOWBRARY

The library will no longer have a monthly newsletter.  Please check out our website www.milford.lib.in.us and Facebook page for current information on library news and events.  It’s very important to sign up for Wowbrary and like us on Facebook.  “What is Wowbrary?”, you may ask.  Wowbrary is a FREE email service for receiving information about the library.  Weekly emails will come on Saturdays.  The newsletter format will give you a list of all the new items: books, music CD’s, DVD’s, magazines, cookbooks and anything else that the library has received that week.  You can also place holds on items using Wowbrary, or see if a book in our catalog is available to check out.  Go to www.wowbrary.org to sign up.  A staff member would be happy to help if needed.  

ADULT CRAFT

MPL is offering adults signed up for the Adult Reading Club a chance to have fun doing a craft by giving out FREE birdhouse kits.  Birds migrating back in the area are going to be looking for new homes to nest.  Attract some beautiful birds to your yard with a custom birdhouse you put together yourself!  You can pick yours up at the adult circulation desk.  Supplies are limited so pick one up today.  We would love to see your finished birdhouses and see what creative touches you’ve added.  If you’d like to share a photo and see it on our website and/or Facebook page please let us know and send to [email protected] . Remember to like us on Facebook and keep an eye out for your photo.  No library card needed to participate.  

ADULT READING CLUB

MPL is wrapping up our Adult Reading Club, but don’t worry there’s still time to join. You have until March 31 to participate and enter the drawing.  This program is for anyone 18 and older.  For each book, audiobook or eBook completed, participants can enter their name into a weekly drawing for a prize.  No library card needed.   

TAX FORMS

April 15 is the deadline for filing 2020 tax returns.  Free tax forms are available to the public at the adult circulation desk.  If you’d prefer to file online, we also have computers and free Wi-Fi available for public use.  No library card required.  

LEGO CREW

We’re so excited to see the rainbows that the Lego Crew has been building this month. If you haven’t signed up yet, don’t worry, submissions for the challenge can still be made through March 29.  Send a photo of your creation to [email protected] to be entered into the contest. The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges and will win a new Lego kit.
