Grace Claims Another Set Of NCCAA Track Honors

WINONA LAKE – Two members of Grace’s track and field team were selected for a national award on Monday.
Isaac Brown was named the NCCAA Men’s Field Athlete of the Week, and Nordia Campbell was the NCCAA Women’s Track Athlete of the Week.
Campbell impressed for the Lady Lancers, winning two events at the IWU Polar Bear Invitational. She won the 200-meter dash in a time of 24.68 seconds (NAIA “A” standard). She also set a school record in the 100 with a time of 12.12 seconds, good for the NAIA “B” standard.
Brown won the men’s high jump when he cleared 6-feet-8.75. He also placed fifth in the long jump at 21-1.25.
The Lancers will be at Taylor on Saturday for the George Glass Invitational.
