A “Pancreatic Cancer Benefit for Mark Mast” will take place Saturday, April 3, at Syracuse Lakeland Eagles Aerie 3760, 12889 N. Kern Road. Mast, a longtime Eagle and community member, was diagnosed with stage three pancreatic cancer in December 2020.

The all-day benefit will include breakfast, dinner, live entertainment, 50-50 raffle and silent auction. All proceeds will help the Mast family with medical bills and expenses.

The event kicks off with an all-you-can-eat breakfast from seven to 10 a.m. Presale tickets for breakfast are available for $10. To purchase tickets, contact Syracuse Eagles at (574) 457-4913.

A Mexican fiesta night dinner starts at 5 p.m. No tickets are needed for dinner, which will be served as long as supplies last. Live music will be provided by the band 4play.

According to event organizer Danielle Mast, Mark’s daughter, there will also be “lots of big raffle items,” including 50-inch smart TVs, hunting equipment, tailgate grills and “much, much more.” Raffle tickets are available at Syracuse Eagles for $1 or six for $5.

A silent auction will also be held featuring more than 30 gift baskets.

“My dad has been a community member for 50-plus years. He has done so much for the community and has been known to give the shirt off his back for anyone,” said Danielle. “We can all give back to him for what he’s done for the community.”
