Rojas Leads Rabbit Grabbit Racers

MILFORD – Brian Shepherd and the good people at the Milford Food Bank held another fun-run on Saturday, the Milford Rabbit Grabbit 2-mile road race.
All proceeds from the race went to the Milford Food Bank, which continues to provide food free of change to people in the community.
Winning the road race was Elias Rojas, clocking a 10:03 over the course, beating runner-up Robby Gingerich by seven seconds. Frank Pizana was third at 10:42 and Brian Shepherd was fourth at 11:13 among the leaders of the 38-person event.
Yvette Rojas led the female racers with a time of 11:46, ahead of Kirsten Alles at 12:02 and Petrana Petkova at 13:11 among the female entrants.
Top junior racer Kristina Petkova at 14:22, followed by Xavier Hofmeister at 14:23 and Clayton Miller at 16:52.
