SILVER LAKE — The funeral for Payton Slaymaker, 10, of Claypool, who passed away Wednesday, April 21, after a battle with cancer, will be held on Monday.

According to her obituary from Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home of Warsaw, her service is 11 a.m. Monday, April 26, at the family’s church, Gospel Hill Church, 303 S. Jefferson St., Silver Lake. Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at the church.

Both are open to the public.

Slaymaker was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) in 2019.
