Man Flown To Fort Wayne For Gunshot Wound

WARSAW — A man was flown to a Fort Wayne hospital over the weekend after an altercation that led to a gunshot wound.
At 6:12 p.m. Sunday, April 25, emergency personnel were dispatched to a residence in the Barbee Lakes area over a report of a man with a gunshot wound. It was determined that the incident occurred following an altercation at the residence, according to information provided by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
The man was taken by Lutheran Air Ambulance to a Fort Wayne hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Responding agencies include the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, North Webster Police Department, Pierceton Police Department, Winona Lake Police Department, North Webster Fire Department and Lutheran Air Ambulance.
This case remains under active investigation.
