Pets Of The Week
Press Release
PIERCETON — Pets of the Week are available for adoption at the Animal Welfare League, 1048 S. CR 325E, Pierceton.
Princess
Princess had a rough start in life and is looking for a knight in shining armor, or jeans and a t-shirt, to rescue her. Princess is an 11-month-old, spayed, female Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix. She has a beautiful red coat and copper eyes. She weighs 45 pounds. Her highness was escorted to the AWL as a stray. She was very timid of new people and had never walked on a leash. While staying at the shelter, she slowly came out of her shell and showed staff her playful and spunky side. Princess will do best in a home with older children and if you have other pets, she would like to meet them. Call to make an appointment to hold court with Princess today!
Princess’s adoption fee is $130.
Ariel
While Ariel is only two years old, all the kittens at AWL refer to him as “grandpa.” Ariel is a grey and white, neutered, male Domestic Short Hair mix. He weighs 10 pounds. Ariel is the sweetest and most patient cat the AWL staff have ever met. He enjoys the company of other cats and is eager to teach the little ones how to be big and strong. He also moonlights as a fashion model and showed off a pair of red pajamas on Facebook last week. This renaissance man is ready to find a forever home and would make a “purrfect” companion for any family or individual. Ariel is currently staying at the PetSmart in Warsaw. Stop by during their open hours to meet him.
Ariel’s adoption fee is $75.
