UPDATE: Three Injured, One flown from Scene

LEESBURG — The two drivers and one passenger involved in a two-vehicle collision at Armstrong Road and CR 200E, all sustained non-life-threatening injuries according to a release by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office. The accident was reported at 10:19 a.m. today, Friday, May 14.
Javier Garza, 25, Warsaw, driver of a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica and Spencer Shilling, 60, Warsaw, driver of a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, were taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for evaluation. James Mudd, 21, Warsaw, was airlifted from the scene by Parkview Samaritan Air Ambulance and taken to Parkview Hospital. Police report he sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say preliminary results of the investigation indicate that Shilling was headed westbound in his truck on Armstrong Road, approaching CR 200E. Garza was northbound on CR 200E and cross the intersection into Shilling’s path of travel. Shilling’s truck struck the passenger side of Garza’s vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and Plain Township Fire Department responded to the scene, along with Lutheran EMS and Parkview Samaritan Air Ambulance.
