Dateline NBC Spotlights Missing Syracuse Teen

SYRACUSE — The search for the missing Syracuse teen continues, with Dateline NBC picking up the case.
Fourteen-year-old Aaliyah M. Ramirez was last seen leaving her residence on Parkway Drive in Syracuse at approximately 8 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, for school.
She never made it to school and never returned home.
She is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 138 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black zip-up sweatshirt, gray and white sweats and a purple Nike backpack.
A statewide Silver Alert remains in effect. Syracuse Police Department currently has her listed as a runaway/missing and she is believed to potentially be in danger.
All tips and leads regarding Aaliyah have been investigated, though unfortunately none have panned out thus far. Any tips are being investigated as they come in.
Both parents have talked to Dateline regarding Aaliyah’s disappearance, though it is unknown at this time when her story will be broadcast.
