Caston Softball 11, Triton 0

Addison Zimpleman tossed a two-hitter as Class 1-A No. 2 Caston shut down Triton Thursday night.

Zimpleman walked two but struck out 14 as Triton (4-16, 0-7 HNAC) had just two singles from Madeline Doll and Lena Doll.

Kinzie Mollenkopf had three hits and four RBI, Isabel Scales had two hits and four RBI and Maddison Smith scored three runs in the runaway win.

Warsaw Softball 5, Mishawaka 4
Mishawaka 10, Warsaw 0

A split of the double dip left Warsaw and Mishawaka tied for second in the final Northern Lakes Conference games of the season.

In game one, Lindsey Bradley’s two-run single in the fourth put the Tigers up for good. Avery Sleeth added two hits and an RBI and Kendyll Landis added an RBI in the victory. Tori Tackett struck out seven in the complete game win.

In game two, Mishawaka jumped on Warsaw (16-7, 11-3 NLC) with seven runs in the first two innings to put the game away in the five-inning dime.

Machaela Banks tossed a three-hitter for the Cavemen.
