WARSAW — Winona Avenue is closed just east of the Detroit Street intersection in Warsaw.

The city of Warsaw posted the following note on its Facebook page around 11 a.m. today.

“We’ve just been notified that NIPSCO has closed Winona Avenue near Detroit Street to do a gas line repair,” the statement said.

The intersection is still open, but Winona Avenue is closed to the east. The work should be done by the end of the day.
