AAUW Holds Annual May Brunch At Palette
News Release
WARSAW — The Warsaw branch of the American Association of University Women held their annual May Brunch at the Palette Restaurant May 15, with 14 members in attendance.
President Lynn Groff welcomed everyone and recognized hostesses Cindy Nolton and Ann White and reminded the members to sign up to be a hostess for the 2021-2022 meetings. Roll call was taken by Secretary Elisa McPherson with each member sharing her plans for Spring/Summer activities.
Groff expressed her hopes that all members read the bios for each candidate and voted in the National AAUW election. Marsha Cook shared that the Indiana State AAUW president said the organization name will remain the same even if the membership qualifications change.
McPherson read the minutes from the April meeting and Treasurer Cindy Nolton read the Treasurer’s Report. Cindy reminded all present that dues for next year should be paid by early June.
New Sunshine Committee Chair Marsha Cook announced that a card will be sent in the event of death of a member or death of a member’s spouse. Additional gestures, if any, will be voted on by the members.
