WINONA LAKE – Fire crews were called out to a residential fire late Saturday night, May 29.

Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory was called to 1340 Gable Drive for a possible residence fire at 11:37 p.m.

Crews found heavy smoke coming from the house, and were able to bring the fire under control in about ten minutes.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Damages listed at $50,000.

Among those responding were Winona Lake Fire Department, Lutheran EMS, Winona Lake police and Warsaw police.
