IATCCC Recognizes Track All-State

INDIANAPOLIS – In recognition of the conclusion of the IHSAA Boys and Girls Track State Finals this past weekend, the Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches (IATCCC) celebrated its All-State athletes for both sports.
The IATCCC names its All-State based off finish at the State Finals, where the top nine places in each of the 16 events in each championship meet are automatic All-State designations.
The Warsaw track programs had a half-dozen athletes earn All-State accolades. Marin Hart earned it in two events, the high jump (eighth) and100 hurdles (ninth). The Warsaw 4×800 relay, which ran to a state runner-up finish, had Wini Barnett, Adree Beckham, Ava Knight and Joey Rastrelli garner the award. Tanner Stiver also earned All-State, taking eighth in the 800 meters.
Tippecanoe Valley’s Dawson Perkins was also All-State, placing seventh in the high jump.
Area All-State for girls track included Lexi Allen of Culver Academy and Mia Pulianas of Elkhart Central, who was a state champion in discus.
Area All-State for boys track included Vincent Nierzwicki-Trifilett of Penn (in three events), state champion Ezra Lewellen of Pioneer in the 100 dash, state champion William Neubauer of South Bend Adams in the 800, Goshen’s Drew Hogan, Northridge’s Jack Moore and Carter Bach, Churubusco’s Riley Buroff, Culver Academy’s George Bourdier, and Elkhart’s Derrick Woods along with his 4×100 relay mates.
