Otterbein UM Announces Plans For Vacation Bible School
News Release
ATWOOD — Otterbein United Methodist Church at 306 E. Main St., Atwood, invites all children ages pre-school through sixth grade to join them at Discovery on Adventure Island Vacation Bible School from 5:30-7:30 p.m. July 26 through July 30.
At Discovery on Adventure Island, students will enjoy an interactive, energizing, Bible-based good time on their quest for God’s great light. They will become explorers and discover how God’s light shines on us and how we can reflect that light as we live each day.
After a high-energy opening assembly time, the explorers make their way through various activities that include making their own art projects at the craft station, playing games at the recreation station, enjoying tasty treats at the snack station and learning about God with Interactive Bible lessons. The explorers will also discover a signal verse (Bible memory verse), which will remain with them in their faith long after VBS.
To register or to find out more about Discovery on Adventure Island VBS, call the Otterbein church office at (574) 858-2291 or find them on Facebook at Otterbein U.M. Church-Atwood. The congregation looks forward to sharing God’s love with the children this summer at vacation Bible school.
