Milford Man Arrested In Connection With 4-Wheeler Theft
Staff Report
MILFORD — A Milford man has been arrested in connection with the theft of a 4-wheeler.
Michael Allen Schuh Jr., 38, 205 S. West St., Milford, is charged with theft, a level 6 felony.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on March 18, 2021, a Milford Police officer was on patrol when he saw a blue Chevy Tahoe pulling a trailer with expired tags.
The officer was aware that a similar vehicle had been involved in the theft of a 4-wheeler in a recent incident. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, which backed into a driveway.
The driver said he was just moving the vehicle and it did not belong to him.
At the residence, the officer saw three 4-wheelers. One of the 4-wheelers was a 2016 camouflage Bad Boy Onslaught 550, which had been reported stolen from a residence on March 16.
A witness reported seeing a blue SUV hauling a trailer back up to the residence and take the 4-wheeler, which was valued at $4,500.
Schuh claimed to have no knowledge of the stolen 4-wheeler and said a friend he knows only as “Adam” dropped it off.
The 4-wheeler was returned to the owner.
Schuh was booked at the Kosciusko County Jail June 9 on a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
