SYRACUSE — Shade and an occasional cool breeze greeted visitors to the Chautauqua-Wawasee Annual Oakwood Fine Arts Festival, Saturday, June 12. There was plenty to see, opportunities to buy artwork of all kinds, food, entertainment and activities.
This year’s festival featured 31 artist booths ranging from jewelry, paintings, framed photographs, stain glass creations, pottery and lots of woodworking. In addition there was face painting, balloon creations and three different musical groups. There was even a winery displaying products available.
Kosciusko County Community Foundation hosted a rock painting activity for the children.
Hot dogs, brats, pork, and ice cream were available to purchase with RE-MAX Realty giving away free popcorn.
