AKRON — A longtime Warsaw Community Schools’ teacher, Scott Sterk, may soon be named as Akron Elementary School’s new principal.
That’s according to the agenda for the Tippecanoe Valley School Board’s regular meeting on Monday, June 21. The meeting is at 6 p.m. at Mentone Elementary School.
The board will vote on approving his position at that time. If approved, he replaces Chrissy Mills, who left at the end of the 2020-21 school year due to a move to Georgia.
According to his biography on Lincoln Elementary School of Warsaw’s website, he taught there for 17 years. He’s married to Stephanie and they have five children.
