Warsaw Baseball Goes Summer Camping

WARSAW — Fortunately this past spring, things were somewhat back to normal for the Warsaw High School baseball program. That continues this summer, as the Tigers are preparing for their annual baseball summer camp set to run July 27-29.
The camp is intended for incoming third through eighth graders and is build around the principles of hitting, fielding and base running. Sessions, which run from 6-8 p.m. each day, will be conducted by the WCHS baseball coaching staff with the assistance of current high school players.
The cost is $60 per camper which covers all three days and also guarantees a camp T-shirt, instruction from WCHS baseball coaches and current players and daily competition.
Players are asked to wear baseball pants, shorts or sweats, a T-shirt, hat and baseball cleats. Coaches are asking players to bring a bat, batting gloves, batting helmet, fielding glove and their own water.
The camp will take place at the WCHS varsity baseball field each day.
Registrations received by Monday, July 12, will be guaranteed a camp T-shirt. Walk-up registrations will be accepted on the day of the amp. However, if possible, preregister to allow the staff to plan accordingly.
