Ribbon Cutting Held For New 10-70 BBQ Food Truck
News Release
SYRACUSE — Today, Friday, July 9, the Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly built 10-70 BBQ food truck. The Ben Rhodes family recently received their Kosciusko County permit and opened their food truck operation this week.
Rhodes, his wife, Amber, and their four daughters and son-in-law run this family business. They enjoy making their own rubs and sauces. Rhodes recently retired from the North Webster Fire Department hence part of the name 10-70 after dispatch lingo from his days in the department.
Customers can purchase different types of BBQ products by the pound. Meals consist of brisket sandwiches, pulled pork, pulled chicken, corn chip pie, BBQ sundae, and ribs. They will be stationed in Syracuse, Ligonier and Kendallville.
