SYRACUSE – Two golf outings are on the horizon in support of local interests.
The Conrad Golf Classic will enter its fifth year, set to take place at Maxwelton Golf Club on Monday, July 26. The outing will continue to pursue serving the community while honoring both Kim and Stephen Conrad as their memory and impact carries on in the community.
Entry for the event is $400 per team of four, which includes lunch for all players, 18 holes of golf plus cart on the legendary Maxwelton course, 50/50 putting contest, men’s and women’s longest drive, longest putt, closest to the pin and hole-in-one prize opportunities. The four-man scramble is a shotgun start for both morning or afternoon sessions.
The event’s net proceeds will go into the Kim and Stephen Conrad Scholarship Fund, which goes to a Wawasee High School graduate attending college to become a teacher. There is also a scholarship for a student who excelled in golf, basketball, cheerleading or gymnastics, all sports the Conrads were involved with in their time at the high school.

Set for Monday, July 19, at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club, the outing is also a morning/afternoon affair with 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. opening bells. The flights are limited to 25 teams per session and cost is $350 per team of four.
