Wawasee opened its home schedule Wednesday in a matinee against the visiting Eagles at Maxwelton.

City got a one-over 37 on the front side from Abby Pequignot to pace its round. Its next three scores were all lumped together, first a 43 from Lily Fowler, then a 44 from Lindsey McCammon and 45 from Cora Hall.

Wawasee’s total was buoyed with a 42 from Taylor Cripe and 46 from Rylee Firestone. Ayla Torres and Izy Losee each carded a 54 to compile the varsity four scores. Morgan Reel had a 55 and Delaney DeLaGrange added a 57 to complete the Wawasee scoring rounds.
