Jesse Paul Davis, 69, of Ligonier, passed away at 3:10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021, at Avalon Village Healthcare in Ligonier. He was born on May 19, 1952, in Decatur, Illinois, to Douglas Malcolm & Helen Louise (Coleman) Davis.

He graduated from Cassopolis High School in Cassopolis, Michigan. He was formerly employed at Universal Forest Products in Michigan & Sanitation Services in Mishawaka for several years. He grew up in Cassopolis and lived most of his life in the South Bend-Mishawaka-Niles area before moving to Ligonier three years ago.

He is survived by three sisters, Patsy (Larry) Line of Syracuse, Anna Simon of Mishawaka, and Sheila (Terry Yoder) Cooke of Goshen; Brother, James (Deronda) Davis of For Smith, Arkansas, several nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Etta Wisdom.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 North SR 15, Warsaw, IN. Private family services will be held at a later date. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN is in charge of arrangements.
