WARSAW — The city Board of Zoning Appeals approved plans for expansion of a car dealership along US 30.

On Monday night, the board approved a plan by R&B Car Company to expands its lot at 2105 N. Biomet Drive further to the west.

The land was acquired from Zimmer Biomet, which stipulated that the business’ view of the highway not be obscured as a result, according to a company spokesperson who spoke at the meeting.

The company needed a variance from the board since the land is designated as an I-2 light industrial.

There was no opposition to the request.
