WARSAW — A motorcyclist was airlifted from the scene of a single-vehicle accident south of Warsaw.

At 9:03 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, Nicholas Moore, 22, Winona Lake, was traveling west on CR 250S, east of SR 25, on a Yamaha motorcycle. Although the exact circumstances of the collision remain unclear, the motorcycle was laid over and slid along the roadway’s surface. Moore was ejected from the Yamaha and sustained head injuries.

According to investigation from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Fatal Team, Moore is in critical condition.

Responding agencies include the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Warsaw Police Department, Lutheran EMS, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and Lutheran Air Ambulance.
