Ruegsegger, Bragg Among CL Honorees

AVON, Ohio – After her first collegiate match, Grace women’s tennis player Lydia Ruegsegger was honored for her performance.
Ruegsegger was named the Crossroads League Player of the Week on Monday. The freshman scored wins at the top singles and doubles spots for Grace in her collegiate debut.
Grace blanked Bethel 7-0 in the season opener on Saturday. The Lady Lancers are back in action on Saturday in Indianapolis for a doubleheader against St. Francis and Marian.
Taylor volleyball setter Kacy Bragg was aptly named the Setter of the Week after helping Taylor to a 3-0 showing at its home tournament, handing out 132 assists and recording a trio of double-double performances. For the grad, the Warsaw grad averaged 44.0 assists, 11.7 digs, 4.0 kills and 1.0 blocks per match.
